Shout Out to Lindsay!!!

Dear sweet Lindsay…our most heartfelt apologies to the buxom blond behind the magic.  You see, Linds is responsible for putting us on the track to all things Fashion Week and we callously disregarded her in our previous post.  For Shame!  Without our gorgeous little marketing director, we would have walked around with blinders, eating our chocolate chip cookie dough blizzards, completely unaware that an Ottawa fashion coo was in our midst.  Our eternal thanks to you Miss Lindsay, for opening our eyes to such a magnificent opportunity…we are merely peons and will forever grovel at your majestic feet!  Please forgive us of our monumental blunder…in the famous words of John Lennon…”we never meant to hurt you…we’re sorry that we made you cry…”  Linds, you are the wings beneath our wings!  For all three of you who had the pleasure of viewing our original Jon Bon post well, you can also thank Lindsay for providing you with hours of exquisite fantasy material…sweet Jon…the hair…the bod…oh but I digress.  Oh Lindsay…what do we have to do..”do we have to get water from the moon?  Is that what we have to do?  To make you love us…make you love us…”  

 

Ottawa Fashion Week…Here We Come!!!

Woohoooo!!!  We are so excited and honoured to be a part of Ottawa’s First Annual Fashion week!  We’re not really sure how all of this happened but its such an amazing opportunity and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of such a faboo event!  Come watch our gorgeous models strut their stuff in our very first Pish Posh fashion show on Friday May 23rd at 5:00…we’ll also have a showcase from 11am-10pm the same day.  So grab your best girls, come visit us and check out all the amazing Canadian designers from May 22nd – 24th.  Tickets are on sale at www.ottawafashionweek.ca

Howdie Y’all! It has been awhile since we last blogged, but pres tel? How does one out do a blog that consists of Jon Bon in daisy dukes lounging on a hammock? Hmmm..tis one for the books. Blogging Virgins No More!

Wow…our first blog post ever!!! Not so sure what to write but this empty page is mocking us! What does one blog about on their first post ever? So much pressure to be witty, insightful and perhaps even informative. Unfortunately, everytime a tiny thought creeps to the front of our brains, its expertly squashed by this vision we had the poor fortune to witness earlier today. Jon Bon Jovi…early eighties…pre-haircut and pre-intro to depilatories…wearing nothing but ridiculously short cut-offs, a smile and an exceedingly lush layer of body hair. Hmmm…we do love him though..eventhough at his most recent concert he showed a disturbing penchant for jazz hands…its hard not too! Well there you have it, that’s our exuse for this post..that and of course the aforementioned blank mocking page. We are no longer blogging virgins in fact, we are well on our way to becoming rather slutty. But before we run off in a flurry of congratulatory pats over our newly forged status, perhaps we should let you in on our intentions. Our blog is going to have a little bit of everything: a dash of fashion, a sprinkle of celebrity gossip, and a whole whack of jewellery because that’s what we do and what we LOVE!!! Besides showcasing some of our own handmade pieces, we also want to share with you some designers that we “heart!” So there it is…we hope you’ll join us for the ride!
